How do I get started on Biologically Equivalent Hormone Replacement?

1. You must have an HRT assessment completed by one of our hormone specialist or complete the HRT assessment form on line.
2. Have your regular physician complete the following blood work and make sure you get a copy of results.
    

 1.      PSA

 2.      Testosterone (free and total)

 3.      estradiol

 4.      TSH

 5.      T-3

 6.      T-4

 7.      DHEA-S

 Females get the following blood work.

1.      FSH

2.      Estradiol

3.      Progesterone

4.      Testosterone

5.      TSH

6.      T-3

7.      T-4

8.      DHEA-S

3. You will need your physician’s approval to talk to our hormone specialist, and then make an appointment time with Solutions Pharmacy.  Note: depending on volume it may take 2 to 4 weeks to get an appointment time…the appointment can be done by phone or in person. 4. The appointment will last approximately 30 minutes and will cost $50.00
5. The recommendation will be faxed to your physician that has agreed to your assessment and then approved by him/her and sent back to our Pharmacy. We will then fill the prescription and send it to you. ( We will need payment method and shipping instructions)

3. Overnight UPS   $ 25-28

 5. You can have us send you an insurance print-out after paying for your prescription by credit card and the insurance company may reimburse you all but your co-pay. Call the number on the back of your insurance card to see if they will pay. It is considered a non formulary prescription.
